It is with great joy that we welcome you to Interventional Cardiology Education (ICE) 2025, which will be held in Ioannina on December 11–13, 2025.

This year’s congress is particularly meaningful, as we return to Epirus—the region where ICE first started more than twenty years ago. From those early steps until today, ICE has become a warm meeting point for colleagues and friends, a place where knowledge is shared, experiences are exchanged, and the future of interventional cardiology is shaped together.

What makes ICE truly unique is not only the scientific progress showcased over the years, but also the strong sense of community that has been cultivated. In 2025, this spirit is further strengthened as ICE becomes the official congress of the Working Group on Interventional Cardiology of the Hellenic Society of Cardiology, reinforcing the role and visibility of the WG within HCS.

This year’s program once again reflects ICE’s core mission, featuring live cases from the University Hospital of Ioannina, interactive workshops, and focused lectures on the latest innovations in coronary and structural interventions. The breadth and depth of the sessions reaffirm ICE’s role as a dynamic forum for education and dialogue—true to its tradition since the very beginning.

A particularly important and new development for 2025 is the collaboration with the Cyprus Medical Association which joins ICE as an active co-organizer of this year’s congress.

The participation of Cyprus Medical Association brings valuable scientific perspectives, enhances the international character of the meeting, and strengthens the bridge between the medical communities of Greece and Cyprus. Their active involvement—in both the scientific program and the organizational framework—marks a significant step toward broader regional collaboration in interventional cardiology.

Returning to Ioannina feels like a warm homecoming—back to our roots—while also looking ahead with renewed vision and enthusiasm.

We are confident that ICE 2025 will be an enriching and memorable experience, combining scientific excellence with the unique hospitality of this historic city.
